Apple has just released the final build of iOS 6.1, just days after releasing the obscure beta 5 build.
The changes in the final build seem incremental, however, it seems that there is more support for LTE-enabled devices, and Siri now has ability to purchase movie tickets via Fandango.
It also adds Bluetooth keyboard support for the Apple TV, and the Maps application now has a stronger API, according to 9to5mac.
Now the question that everyone’s been asking, when will the jailbreak be released? And we could very much see one tonight. @planetbeing noted that he was reviewing the firmware as we speak, and if it’s all good, the jailbreak could very much well be released tonight. Only time will tell. UPDATE: @planetbeing has just confirmed that iOS 6.1 is still vulnerable to their jailbreak exploits, however, @MuscleNerd is dropping hints of a Sunday jailbreak release date, unfortunately.
Are you excited? You can catch the iOS 6.1 changelog after the break!
