Panning away from the Evasi0n Untethered iOS 6.1 Jailbreak madness, it’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything about Apple’s rumored radio music service on iOS. Back in October, Bloomberg reported that Apple was working on launching a similar radio service to Pandora Radio on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.
With the Evasi0n Untethered iOS 6.1 Jailbreak, some iRadio related files have been found hiding in the iPad Music.app file. We managed to use iFunBox to explore our iPad, finding some icon files under the title “radio-buy-button”. Sunday is Funday Once Again for the Untethered iOS 6 Jailbreak [UPDATE: Maybe Not]

Earlier today Apple released the iOS 6.1 firmware to the public, which is interesting since the company never stated that the iOS 6.1 Beta 5 would be the Golden Master build. Aside from that, the release of iOS 6.1 finally allows the Untethered iOS 6 Jailbreak team, known now as evad3rs, to finish up the Jailbreak.
The evad3rs were waiting on Apple to released the iOS 6.1 firmware so that they could see if the firmware was still vulnerable to their exploits, it seems they are, but when will the team release the Untethered iOS 6.1 Jailbreak? [Read more...]
Next Generation iPhone Could Have Up to 128GB Capacity

Not so long ago, Jefferies analyst Peter Misek speculated that the future next generation iPhone 5S would support up to 128GB capacity. While 64GB for the highest model is plenty, 1080p video and high quality photos are starting to take up a lot of space with all of these upgrades.
In a recent Tweet from @iNeal, the hacker and developer found something interesting in the iOS 6.1 SystemPartitionPadding. In iOS 6.0, this segment of iOS only shows partitions 8, 16, and 32, but in iOS 6.1 the system shows 8, 16, 32, 64, and 128. [Read more...]
iPhone 5S To Have Upgraded Camera, iPad Mini Update To Come In October

According to new reports from “trusted intel”, iLounge has new information about what could be in store for us in regards to the iPhone 5S and 5th generation iPad. On point with previous rumors, it seems that there are currently two prototype model numbers that have been circulating codenamed N51 and N53, and it seems that the report is repeating that a possible summer time launch, will be happening. Also, the iPad 5th generation codename is currently J72, and should a Fall time-frame launch. Here’s the scoop:
The iPhone 5S is still months away from mass production, but our source suspects that the star feature will be an upgraded rear camera—perhaps featuring Sony’s 13-Megapixel sensor, plus the aforementioned flash upgrade—along with a processor bump. Current prototypes are codenamed N51 and N53, with July mentioned as the target date. [Read more...]
