Most of us already have probably Used the Evasi0n Untethered iOS 6.1 Jailbreak, no matter how crowded the servers are. Yesterday, the Evasi0n Jailbreak was downloaded over 100,000 times within the first 10 minutes.

Cydia founder Jay Freeman, we know him as Saurik, also reported that the overload was due to an average for 14,000 hits per second. Freeman had an interview with Forbes today regarding the Evasi0n Jailbreak, and its effect on Cydia downloads.

In its first six hours online, the crack had already been used at least 800,000 times, according to Jay Freeman, administrator of the Cydia appstore for jailbreakers, and he says that’s a conservative estimate–his count was fouled up when the tsunami of traffic knocked his server offline several times over the course of the jailbreak’s first day online. By Tuesday his count was up to 1.7 million.

The first six hours, Cydia was downloaded 800,000 times, then by Tuesday 1.7 million. Previously there were rumors that the Jailbreak scene was dying due to the lack of pirating applications, these numbers don’t lie.
