Just Wednesday, the evad3rs team pushed out Evasi0n 1.1 update to fix a few bug found, such as the long boot and Weather app bugs. Today, the team has pushed out Evasi0n 1.2 with some handy updates and bug fixes.
Evasi0n 1.2 will “Correct timezone issue in evasi0n binary if client fails to correct it” making the Evasi0n Untethered iOS 6.1 Jailbreak a bit more stable to users who are having problems.
The Evasi0n 1.2 update also has a handy feature that will disable Over The Air updates (OTA) on iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad Mini and iPad. This feature is useful for when Apple pushes out the final build of iOS 6.1.1, since the iOS 6.1.1 beta was seeded to developers by Apple yesterday. Pod2g tweeted that the iOS 6.1.1 beta doesn’t patch any of the exploits used in the Jailbreak…yet, but the latest beta firmware cannot be Jailbroken using evasi0n, and the final build of iOS 6.1.1 will probably come with patches for your iPad jailbreak.
Disable OTA updates.

If you have a Jailbreak running and used Evasi0n 1.0 or Evasi0n 1.1, no need to re-Jailbreak using Evasi0n 1.2. The evad3rs team have also pushed out this update in Cydia, under the changes tab, so current Jailbroken device get pieces of the cake.
