Apple has started getting weird with its iOS updates lately. First the company released iOS 6.0.2, which is only supported by the iPhone 5 and the iPad Mini, and today Apple has released iOS 6.1.1 only for the iPhone 4S.
Pod2g previously spoke on the iOS 6.1.1 update matter, saying that Apple did not patch any of the Evasi0n Jailbreak exploits in the update, could Apple be getting more lenient with Jailbreaking?
Good news for iPhone 4S users planning to update to iOS 6.1.1, planetbeing took to Twitter saying that the evad3rs team will be releasing an update to the Evasi0n Jailbreak tool, supporting the iOS 6.1.1 firmware to be Jailbroken.
Apple released 6.1.1 for the 4S only today. The JB still works fine. We will release an updated evasi0n that recognizes it as supported.

Users who aren’t having any problems with iOS 6.1 should avoid this update, as it is possible iOS 6.1.1 could cause some Cydia Tweaks and Packages not to work.
