Due to the probable fact that we won’t be seeing a public iOS 6 jailbreak anytime soon, some clever “developers” took it upon themselves to create a theme dubbed “Black Orbs“, much like you see on a jailbroken device with WinterBoard, utilizing WebClips and a black wallpaper. The best part of it all, it allows your device to be totally customizable without being jailbroken. The theme requires a download of a small profile, which creates 31 web clips in shape of circles, or Orbs, and look even better when placed upon a black wallpaper.
You’ll need to download the configuration file here, and you can get a black wallpaper here. It’s also worth noting you can do this entirely on your device, and you don’t need to be a developer or use tools like Xcode, etcetera.
There are 2 small caveats that many noticed, and that’s that, it already has preconfigured icons. It totally sucks, and I haven’t figured out anyway, if any, to add icons that you need to use. Also, the webclips are designed to launch Safari, and then applications will launch. It’ll obviously take a few extra seconds, it’s not that long, but it’s something worth noting. Oh, and the Phone icon opens up Google Voice.
