Google Earth With 3D Cities Now Available On iOS

Google has updated their Google Earth on iOS with a new 3D cities feature. Apple replaced the Google Maps app with their own maps app in iOS 6 but users can still download the Google Earth. Google Earth version 7 allows users to view 3D models of cities similar to how Google Maps can. Currently you can view the following cities in 3D: Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, Boston and more. Google stated via their update release notes that the update brings:

• Tour guide: Explore places you never thought to search for with new tours of your favorite cities, historic landmarks and natural wonders.
• 3D imagery: Take flight above entire cities in 3D. Get started with Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, Geneva or Rome and look for new additions in the coming weeks. Available for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 or later.

You can download the free update on the app store right now.
