Rockstar Games has finally brought Grand Theft Auto Vice City over to the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. The company has been teasing us about the 10th anniversary release of the port for some time now, for iOS App Store along with Android.
Grand Theft Auto Vice City for iOS will bring players the same gameplay they are used to from the old PlayStation 2 video game. The iOS version of Vice City has fully updated graphics and Retina display support for the iPhone 5 and iPod Touch 5G.
The iOS port of Grand Theft Auto Vice City also has a custom playlist feature built-in in an interesting way. To create a custom playlist, you must first create a playlist in the native iOS Music app title “VICECITY”. Then after launching the game, when inside of a vehicle, change the radio station to “Tape Deck”.
GTA Vice City for iOS fully supports iCloud saving, so that you can switch from your iPhone to your iPad and be in the same spot you left. Just like the Grand Theft Auto 3 port, you can also fully customize the button layout on the screen.
The game has now been released worldwide for $4.99 as a universal app. Check out Grand Theft Auto Vice City in the App Store for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.
