Talks of the iPhone 5S have been ramping up in the past weeks, and it seems that the new device is already under production at Foxconn. Japanese blog Macotakara.jp is bringing the latest scoop, claiming that the folks at Foxconn are already assembling and prepping the device for primetime. The report is citing reliable sources that claim several factories have already begun to produce the device, because it is so similar to its predecessor, which won’t require any retooling.
Surprisingly enough, this is aligning with Jefferies analyst Peter Misek’s prediction stating that the iPhone 5S would begin production in March. Also, it seems that we’ll then see the device sometime during the summer, which is also aligning with previous rumors, as well as today’s rumor that the iPhone 5S would launch in August.
Unfortunately, part leaks for the iPhone 5S have seem to be scarce, yet the only information we’ve really heard, or is a given, is that the iPhone 5S will be equipped with updated internals, possible an upgraded camera, and of course, iOS 7, which we will most likely first see at WWDC.
