The rumors on the new iPhone 5S just keep coming in. However, according to a new report from Ming-Chi Kuo, over at KGI Securities, we’ve heard a few new rumors. Despite being an analyst, his predictions have been somewhat reliable and trustworthy in the past. Kuo is predicting that the iPhone 5S will have a fingerprint scanner, and that it will also be launching in June.
A fingerprint scanner may sound totally barbaric to you, however, Apple did acquire AuthenTec last year, who specializes in making fingerprint sensors, so we’re definitely interested to see if or how Apple chooses to implement such a feature. Kuo’s also predicting that the new devices will contain updated specifications, as well as the new A7 chip, of course. His note also talks about a cheaper iPhone, the rumor we can’t seem to get away from.
I’m pretty iffy with these rumors, however, with a little bit of research, I guess they could be somewhat factual. What are your thoughts? Leave them in the comments below! source
