The new Apple Store Palo Alto opened up today with a complete redesign and it looks stunning.
This morning, hundreds of patrons waited outside the Apple Store Palo Alto to get inside the new “prototype” Apple Store design. We got a a chance to wake up early and make it into the line, which stretched down University ave. and around the corner of Bryant st.
Earlier this week Apple sent out emails to subscribers in the area announcing that the new Palo Alto Apple Store would be reopening on October 27th at 10 A.M. PST. The first 1,000 visitors to the store also received a commemorative Apple Store Palo Alto t-shirt, you know, the original meaning of swag.
An hour before the Apple Store opening, around 100 Apple employees came out in a single-file line walking down the block giving out free high-fives. We thought the line of workers would never end, there were so many, and we were starting to wonder if they were walking around the block for a second round.
If you take a look at our new Apple Store Palo Alto photos, you will see that this Apple Store has an all glass front and roof. We mentioned previously that the glass roof seemed like a safety hazard, especially since California is prone to earthquakes, hopefully it’s reinforced in some way.
Walking inside, you will see a lit up Apple logo overlooking the entrance. Going further in, there are about 25-30 tables filling the Apple Store Palo Alto floor. These tables of course have Apple’s latest models of iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, MacBook Pro Retina, iMac, and everything else Apple sells. Towards the back you can find an enormous-sized Genius Bar with accessories, banners, and more Apple products covering the side -walls.
Greeted by a huge crowd of employees clapping and even dancing for the store’s reopening like they were doing a ritual to the almighty Apple god. Plenty of cool stuff to see including the marble, which the walls are made of, that we heard was imported from Italy. The glass ceiling is vibrate proof, so the aforementioned earthquake scenario will not play any negative part and should absorb Earth’s mighty shocks.
We had a phenomenal time checking out the Apple Store in Palo Alto, one of Apple’s largest flagship stores. Personally, this is the largest Apple Store I have ever visited. If you are in the Bay Area, the Apple Store in Palo Alto is definitely something to check out.
