The days are getting closer to the speculated date of the Untethered iOS 6.1 Jailbreak. The evad3rs have been working hard this week, since the release of iOS 6.1 to the public, on getting things wrapped up with the Evasi0n tool.
The Evasi0n progress bar was updated today on the website, going from 65 percent to 75 percent of a complete Jailbreak. Along with the percentage change, the Untethered iOS 6.1 Jailbreak seems to have gone into Private Beta Testing.
75%: Linux version is still on the works. Private beta testing has started for OS X and Windows. Come back soon!
Usually with the release of a new Untethered Jailbreak, the Mac OS X and Windows Jailbreak are released first, then the Linux version comes later. Last time around we had to wait an extra day for the Windows Jailbreak to be released, while the Mac OS X version worked flawlessly. If you are running a Windows computer and the Untethered iOS 6.1 Jailbreak is a must for you on day one, be sure to have a friend’s phone number in handy who owns a Mac, just in case.
The Untethered iOS 6.1 Jailbreak for devices like the iPhone 5, iPod Touch 5G, iPad Mini and more is rumored to be released on Superbowl Sunday, Sunday is Funday.
